Now when peeling ginger it is important to not use an actual peeler for the waste of product. Now if you don't feel like spending the extra money a spoon works just fine. Just how this design looks. The metal part is the spoon, but instead of an uncomfortable grip a spoon gives off this gives you an easy handle. I peel a lot of ginger so I decided to just make the splurge on this. Works great. Handle is comfortable and peels perfectly.
