I have used many wooden cutting boards through the years and had to get rid of many because of mold and stains. I never liked plastic boards because I thought they would ruin my knives, and some would have because of the cheap material used. However, this cutting board is a joy to use: the size is perfect for the dishwasher, lightweight enough to be picked up with one hand and transfer food to the pan, very steady and secure on the counter, and is a dream to clean. Does it get scratched from the blades? Yes, so did my wooden cutting boards, but now I don't have to work so hard in cleaning them. I got 2 (black & red) and also a prep board...prefect for slicing a tomato or a lemon. Best value for the price!

We have several cutting boards made of wood, and some of plastic, but honestly this is the nicest we own. The rubber end and the indents on both ends to help keep your counter clean really make this a stand out. I know it sounds funny, but really the rubber ends keep the cutting board from moving even when cutting a heavy roast, and the catches at each end keeps the juices from what ever your cutting from ending up on your counter top.

I really like this board. It stays in place as if it has suction cups on the bottom. It is also reversible. It cleans up well and stays whites. My kitchen is red and stainless and it looks great. This is the second one I bought and I may buy a third as a gift. I highly recommend.

The primary reason I ordered this item is because the decor in my kitchen is red and white. I am very satisfied with this cutting board, however I do wish it had a handle. I find myself using my other cutting board that has a handle more than I use this one. I use this board more for cooling muffins on, or as an overflow if I am chopping a large quantity of veggies and such. Good quality and if you prefer a board without a handle, this is the board for you.

I've gone through several types of cutting boards. Still have a few bamboo ones, and a large clear plastic one with the lip that hangs over the edge of my counter for larger things. I also used several glass ones for doing poultry, but recently purchased some ceramic knives, and they instruct to not use the ceramic knives on glass. So I needed something to use instead of the glass ones, that would be easier to clean and smaller than the large counter hugging plastic one.
This fit the bill, having the juice grooves on the one side, and beveled edge on the other, with rubber feet on both sides so it sits securely no matter which side you use.

I posted pictures to give a better view of the grooves and edges where the feet are.

Feet secure it very well, it doesn't budge in use. Very easy to clean. Will have to look for another couple of these in different sizes now, this one impressed me enough.

Use these all the time, have several. Fits ok in the dishwaher. Has not picked up any stains. Good size for many routine kitchen tasks, but you'll want a larger one in your inventory, and several smaller ones. The gutter on all 4 sides to catch juices is nice, but it could be a little deeper to hold more, if you are cutting a cooked roast on it they'll overflow, I knocked off a star for that.

As a long-time fan of all things Oxo, I must say I'm pretty disappointed with this product. The plastic is very soft. What does this mean? Well, for anyone who knows their way around a kitchen will tell you, it means this: If you have sharp knives like my Victorinox Forschner and Global chef knives you will easily slice gouges into the plastic with no effort at all. Slicing tomatoes (which means very little pressure on the blade) caused deep gouges that can easily trap bacteria.

Soft plastic also means that when you wash it in the dishwasher with the heating element for the water and heated dryer turned off, it will still warp.

Pros? The rubber coated exterior edge and rubber nub feet work really well by holding the board in place. Out of wood, plastic, glass (ugh!) and acrylic, acrylic has been my favorite cutting surface and I will get another one to replace this one ASAP.

This is a great cutting board. I like the size and "heft". Because of the "nubs" on the four corners it is non-skid and sits flat. It has two usable sides, one with grooves to catch juice runoff and the other flat. I have several of these in this size and use them for the majority of my cutting needs. They are very easy on the edge of your expensive knives. I usually wash mine by hand, but you can certainly toss em in the dishwasher. Even the price is good. Highly recommend.

We've had this cutting board for about 1.5 years. At first I really liked it as it does have all the great qualities that others have mentioned. However, knife use over time has caused the board to be cut up to the point that it is coming off in small pieces. I have another plastic board that is older and worn/cut from knives but is not coming off in pieces like this one. We use it maybe once or twice a week so I don't know if you would consider that really heavy use, but I don't want to eat plastic pieces in my food. I'm having to throw it away and buy a new cutting board now. It was nice while it lasted but don't expect to invest in it and have it last forever.

Excellent item, I have brought many cutting boards in the past but none have been more durable than this one. I like it a lot.
