This is a sturdy, big, 4-inch pizza wheel, complete with thumb guard, which produces clean, straight-through cuts on the first run every single time. Its smooth-running, beveled wheel blade never seems to need sharpening and its hefty body fits comfortably in the hand, making it require less force to operate than the more traditional lightweight cutters do, and rendering it perfect for pizzas, pie crusts, dough, etc.
Like the rest of the products from the OXO Good Grips line, this one is a great value of superior quality, unsurpassed durability and flawless performance. I purchased this pizza cutter after reading a review in Cook's Illustrated magazine. I wanted to make homemade pizza with my new baking stone and figured my old pizza cutter (which was much smaller than this one) needed to be replaced. This 4 inch cutter worked great! It cuts right through the crust the first time and cleaned up easily.
