Join OXO in Supporting the Movement to Find a Cure for Pediatric Cancer
Cookies for Kids' Cancer was founded in 2007 by two OXO employees, Gretchen and Larry Witt, who were inspired by their son Liam's battle with pediatric cancer. The concept originated when Gretchen decided to hold a larger-than-life bake sale to raise money to help fund a pediatric cancer treatment in development. That December, 250 volunteers helped make and sell 96,000 cookies in just three weeks, raising over $400,000. Since then, local bake sales all over the country have helped raised more than $2.5 Million for pediatric cancer research.
Since the beginning, OXO employees have donated their personal time baking cookies and holding bake sales. Through these personal efforts, they have helped raise over $150,000 to support Cookies for Kids' Cancer. This year OXO will donate up to $100,000 in support of this cause so close to their hearts.

Surprisingly good for stir-frying. Size and shape are perfect.
This is hands down the best for STIR-FRYING in teflon pans that can't handle metal or wood (sharp splinters). The spatula never melts even at red high coil burner temps so I can stir fry super fast. It is soft so there is no damage whatsoever to teflon. It will also wipe the pan/wok/pot clean because there are no gaps between the spatula tip and the pan. You can scrape with it and not worry about scratching the pan. Easy to clean (no holes where food gets stuck as in some other spatulas).
It is a tad soft on the edges so it is not as easy to say, mince and dice ground meat as it is browning in the pan. The handle also should be longer and made of material that won't melt if you set it on the side of the pan for a long time (right now it is fine if you set it on the side of a hot pan for about 10 seconds...I haven't tried longer). I wuold suggest putting a metal plate at the underside of the handle, or just making the handle all metal.
If there is too much hot oil and little food material, it may splatter on your hand since the handle is short, but I actually tied a long stick to the handle so I can really fry up stuff.
But the cons are easily adpatable. This is still my favorite stir-frying untensil.
