We love these magnets! We have a steel home (with steel roof and trim) and used these magnets to hold/secure Christmas lights! Just one magnet every 3 to 4 feet and we were done! Quick and secure (even in high winds) - they'll be easy to take down when the season is over!

I couldn't find any refrigerator magnets (other than tacky, big, expensive ones) after looking at a few different stores. Found these at Amazon and gave it a try. I was worried about the magnets not being very powerful, but they are extremely strong.

These were way smaller than I expected, see photo next to quarter, but I'm totally happy with them. Strong magnets, good clips.

I love these little magnets. We put magnetic primer on the walls of the office before we painted it from about 4' to 7' off the ground. These clips are great at holding things up. I've got one holding a 7x10" photo, another holding 5 sheets of 8.5x11 paper, 4 of them on the corners of a larger 18x22 photo (on heavy lustre paper). They're great, I've lost track of how many I've ordered now... I keep finding myself throwing one in as a freebie on the buy three get four deal in kitchen wares. They also make ok stands on the desk, I have a couple holding up small pieces of paper with todo lists, the postcard from the vet reminding me to take the cat in, and bills to be paid on my desk.

Pros:
Stick conveniently to the fridge and don't take up too much space
Strong enough to hold a clip on most plastic chip bags
Essentially does what it's supposed to do

Cons:
Not strong enough to clips thicker bags
These can get lost/thrown away pretty easily because they're so tiny

These work to close cereal bags (in the box). I have no need for a magnet for my refrigerator, I use a Dry Marker board on the frig to make shopping lists or notes. But Ive been looking for months and years for good, small, clips, for chips etc. These are very tiny for big chips bags, but seem fine for cereal bag, pasta bag, etc.

These work, fairly strong magnets.

Quality control:
The magnetic holding force varies for each clip. I discovered why: the magnet is slightly recessed below the lip of the circular plastic hole that holds the magnet. The magnet is therefore not touching the metal it is attracted to. The depth of the magnet below the lip varies, causing different hold force among the clips. The magnet surface should be even or slightly above the lip of the plastic hole so that it touches the metal surface it is attracted to. I have the colored set, of the prior "generation" of these clips and they do not have this issue. The current generation of the colored clips appear to be the same mold as these white clips. So, I don't own the colored clips, Oxo Good Grips Magnetic Mini Clips 8-Pack, Assorted Colors, but I'm guessing that they will have the same issue. I don't think this is intentionally done to prevent scratching surfaces. The magnets are smooth. And the depth varies. If they were all the same depth, then maybe I could see that this was intentional. Of the set I have, two of the magnets are even with the lip of the hole, allowing them to be in contact with the metal surface.

This is a minor issue. The magnets hold fine for most uses. However, if you have something a little heavy, and the magnet of one clip is not strong enough, check the other clips, and you may find one that is strong enough.

These little magnets are strong and I like that.

Three of the magnets in my package were peeling on the bottom. There is a thin piece of shiny metal on the bottom of the magnets and on 3 of the magnets, the shiny metal had peeled off and the magnetic surface underneath was powdery and flaking off. I threw the damaged magnets away and kept the ones that were not defective.

These clips are great. The have a nice strong magnet that grips tightly to the refrigerator. You can hang several sheets of paper with just one magnet and it won't slide down. They are also handy for hanging up notes or papers on metal bookcases at work. I plan to purchase additional sets.

These are good, but really almost too small for a chip bag. Maybe a small individual chip bag, or smaller items. Otherwise they are great.
