I've been wanting something like this for a long time and am so glad it's been created. I keep a bag of ice in the freezer and have wanted a nonmetal scoop to leave in there, as a metal one is really cold to the touch. This does the trick, and I'm probably more excited than I should be but getting a glass of ice is something I do several times a day.

Now I have five of these little scoops in three sizes. I just plain like them. I did also buy a larger, aluminum scoop; but these are great for most uses.

The little ones are good for coffee, a full scoop just about right (I heap mine 'cause I like my coffee a little strong). Medium size is just right for scooping bird seed. The larger one shown here... well, what else do you need to scoop? Sugar? Flour? Pet food? Fertilizer or potting soil? Be imaginative! In fact, I never knew I had so much use for scoops before.

I reviewed the two smaller ones with four stars. The more I use them, the more I think five stars is right. Can't find anything to complain about.

I bought a few of these...and they are great. I keep 1 in the freezer for my ice...1 for the flour...the sugar...etc. Great product

We use this as an ice scoop and it works perfectly. We had one OXO scoop that I mistakenly pitched into the trash during a brain cramp so I immediately came to Amazon and bought it's replacement. I was not disappointed, the replacement worked just as well as the original scoop.
We own a number of OXO utensils and I highly recommend them, especially if age or disability has caused problems with gripping things.

I bought this to use for our in-freezer ice cube maker. The cubes pile up in a bin, and I've found using tongs to be frustrating. This is a great scoop to use instead. It does well in the cold temperature and is able to hold several ice cubes at a time. It's easy to handle. What more can I say? It's a scoop, after all.

We have an ice maker in our freezer, but you have to get the ice out yourself. This scoop is just what we needed to make it easy to scoop out a few cubes or many at a time. I can't speak to its durability, but I love the soft handle and the fact that the entire thing has some flexibility to it. OXO products are great!

like the design. the color and feels sturdy. advantage of this vs a metal scooper is the handle's not as cold as the metal. I am beginning to like oxo brand in general.

This scoop is absolutely perfect to leave in the freezer for ice. (Great way to deter people from grabbing ice with their hands.) The plastic is non-stick. One scoop fills a large tea glass well.

I needed something that I could leave in the ice bin of my freezer that wouldn't make the kids hands freeze when they scooped up ice. This works great for that. Also, I needed something that would pour a large quantity of ice into a small opening of a jug. I had tried scoop type measuring cups and ended up just spilling ice all over the floor. This scoop works excellent, and rarely do I drop a cube.

Love the scoop. Big fan of OXO products in general. Perfect for use measuring and baking. I like to use it to ease extra flour into my mixer while kneading.
