I used the Scrubbing Bubbles flushable cleaners for years simply for the ease of cleaning they granted. However, over time, I noticed they didn't have enough durability to really scrub a toilet down and were pretty useless for any dirt or build up under the rim. In an attempt to make our lives even less wasteful and more eco friendly, I ordered the stainless steel toilet brush and canister to use with Method Toilet Cleaner. I liked that the brush head was firm and durable and that after several months of use I could replace just the head vs having to buy a whole new brush.

Th brush works like a charm. Really scrubs a toilet down and gets under the rim to attack the build up there with no problems. I'm looking at ordering a second one so I don't have to cart this one between bathrooms. The only con is the price, which I think is a little steep for a toilet brush.

This item looks good in the bathroom, and certainly better than an all plastic $3 one that I previously had. I will admit that I never actually have cleaned a toilet for many years. But my cleaning lady has not complained so I know it works fine. She has complained about everything else in my house, so this must be something that is working well for her.

Well, first I would like to say that this toilet bowl brush and canister set is very beautiful. I love the design. The handle fits well in my hand.The base of the canister is white plastic, so you don't have to worry about the bottom of the stainless steel getting rust on it, because the base is plastic. Also, the handle, like I said fits well in your hand, but the handel is white and the tip of it has stainless steel on it , which I love. HOWEVER, this set is brushed stainless steel! This is a problem that I have with Amazon. I have ordered stainless steel items from Amazon in the past and the stainless steel was either nickel stainless steel or brushed. My bathroom is polished stainless steel, so you can clearly see the difference in the stainless steel, but I love how beautiful this set is, so I kept it. I also bought the toilet plunger and canister set.

I had a toilet brush set where I could put cleaning fluid like Faboloso in the container and use it to clean out the toliet bowl and the remainign fluid would leave the bathroom smelling fresh. This set opens when you remove the brush but closes when you replace the brush. I could not leave any fluid in the bowl because it was porous. This was an expensive toliet bowl set that did not clean the toilet any better than a cheap set so I purchased a cheaper set on Amazon and disposed of this one. Looks better than what it really is.
