I blindly ordered a pair of these last year when I needed some new travel mugs. I picked these because of the airtight push-button lid, and the sleek design of the lid.

What I read on Amazon after I purchased were complaints about keeping the cup clean and working.

Here I am a year on with a report...

The lid disassembles. Twist the lid and rubber stopper (with button depressed), and the lid separates into two pieces which have both been through the dishwasher weekly for over a year.

This cup holds less than you realize... Due to the recessed lid stopper and accompanying mechanism, I discovered immediately that this cup holds about 4-5 oz less coffee than other travel mugs of a similar size. Again, it's due in part to the size of the large lid design, but I have found to make up for it by overfilling the cup past the marked line (which is hard to see a black line on black plastic when pouring black liquid that steams and is boiling hot). When I attach the lid, I make sure the button is down, plunging into the coffee before I close the lid. When the lid retracts it will frequently pull the overfill portion into the lid area and I get a little extra coffee sip as I'm walking out the door.

Other than container size issues, this is a pretty decent travel mug. If it were only slightly larger, I would throw down an extra star or two...

It doesn't leak, and it keeps liquids relatively insulated. Only relatively because you can feel the warm liquid from the outside of the container. This means the liquid doesn't stay as warm as in better insulated mugs. My major gripe with this mug is the lip from which you're suppose to drink from. It's an odd shape and thickness making it difficult to take a gulp without either getting it all over yourself or, at least, all over your mouth. There really is no elegant way to drink from this mug, or it could be the geometry of my face. It really is quite annoying! Pack a napkin!

Their first cleanable mug..seems great. Haven't compared whether keeps things AS cold as their non-handled one (not sure why not, but others have posted). I would rather not have the handle, but may just cut if off. It's really easy to pop the lid completely part to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. They have the best mugs (won't drip!)...and have now fixed the one downside to the older models...hopefully this cleanable setup will now be used in their other models, too.

Been using the " OXO Good Grips LiquiSeal 360-Degree Travel Mug with Handle 12-ounce" for about a month now.

Pros:
-Great seal while closed
-Solid constructions

Cons:
-When I pour my hot coffee into this mug, within seconds the outside of the mug feels toasty warm. Never hot, but warm enough to know that the liquid inside is losing it's warmth & within 20 min, fresh hot coffee, is just warm.
-A bit small - hey, it's says 12 oz., maybe I should have picked up 1 that was 16 oz. Also the dimensions (circumference) are small and it slides around my car cup holder. (I've tried some napkins, but might try a neoprene beer cozy to keep it snug.)
-Sometimes difficult to determine if it is empty or to get that last little bit.
-As a problem with many of these portable cups, gets difficult to clean grime from inside the sealing mechanism.

Would I buy it again?
No ( If staying warm isn't your priority & anti-spillage is, this might be for you) But for me, I would & possibly still will try the Contigo Double Wall Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated "Tumbler"

We must have a dozen travel mugs, but they either don't keep things hot/cold, or, for most of them, we can't find the matching lids. I ordered the OXO Mug based on reviews and a blog that I first saw it in. This is the one to buy. All of the earlier problems with cleaning have been resolved with the 2 part lid that separates and can be put into the dishwasher. Disassembly is a snap, half turn counterclockwise and it's apart. Reverse to reassemble.

How well does it keep beverages cold or hot? Extremely well. I fill it up with ice in the morning and it's good for 7 - 8 hours of keeping my Cherry Coke cold with little dilution. I just keep adding Coke through out the day, but not ice.

I was confused about the "360-degree" in the name. Well, what it means is that there isn't a correct side to drink from. However you pick it up you can drink, unlike all the others we have that only offer a single little hole to drink from. The center pushes in to open and another push seals the lid - even when held upside down. No splashing in the car when going around corners, even when the lid is in the drink position.

This mug is a little more expensive than other brands, but well worth it. It may be the last travel mug you'll ever buy. Oh, it's easy to clean the thermos part by hand while the lid goes in the dishwasher.

I've had it for a few months and love it. Keeps coffee hot and no spills. Easy to clean and no smells. A must have!

I received this as a gift from my wife when my slide top coffee mug stopped closing properly and was leaking. The OXO Good Grips LiquiSeal 360-Degree Travel Mug with Handle is truly leak proof and the click top, 360º lid makes it super convenient to drink out of plus when it's closed you know that's what's inside is staying warm. The lid comes apart in two pieces which makes it easy to clean and you don't get that awful stale coffee taste like you would from other travel mugs that never clean fully. Fits perfectly in the cup holder in my Jeep

OXO Good Grips LiquiSeal 360-Degree Travel Mug with Handle 12-ounce, Blue I put my mug on top of the car and drove off down our long winding driveway. I realized later when I went to reach for the mug what had happened. After work when I got home the mug was on the side of the driveway in one piece and the liquid was still inside. The lid was a little roughed up but I am still using it with no leaking at all. I have tried many travel mugs but this is the best. I recommend it highly!

I've had a problem with the lids for these mugs. I ordered 4 mugs at the same time. The first lid broke the day after we got the shipment. Two other lids broke this week. The button in the middle does not stay down when depressed, so this means that if you want to drink from the mug you will have to take off the lid first. In a few instance the button/center part of the lid has fallen down into the mug and into whatever drink is in there.

The concept was good especially since I was looking for something my husband could use with one hand. It was also nice to have something that could he could get a drink from no matter how he drank from the mug.

Now the mugs are basically useless for the intended purpose. I would not buy these mugs again.

I wanted my first travel mug to be a great one, so I read reviews and mulled things over and finally selected this one because: (1) it's by OXO, a brand name I trust; (2) it has a handle; (3) it's pink! I will say this: nothing leaks, and I really appreciate that. My overall experience with it, though, is disappointing. For one thing, the liquid doesn't stay hot for long. For another thing, the 360 degree opening is awkward, and I have to be very careful not to spill or dribble. Finally, all of the liquid does not come out through the opening, so the entire contents of the mug cannot be consumed except by unscrewing the lid, which really defeats the purpose. I still adore OXO products, but just not this one.
