The OXO Tot Sippy Cup with Handles offers a fun and mess-free way of helping toddlers transition from using bottles to big-kid cups. Designed for children six months and older, the brightly colored, 7-ounce cup features large handles that are angled so your little one doesn't have to turn his wrists too far and non-slip grips along the sides for easy handling. Once your toddler has mastered how to grip firmly, simply remove the handles to turn the cup into a regular Sippy Cup.
Lid Features Drinking Comfort and Liquid Containment
The lid screws on tightly to keep drinks inside while still making it easy to drink from, and transparent walls help you know just how much liquid is left. In addition, a dimple in the lid makes room for little noses, and a leak-proof valve releases pressure so your child can sip comfortably. The valve is removable for easy cleaning.
The Tot 7-ounce Sippy Cup with Handles is also available without handles in a 7-ounce and 11-ounce size. All are part of the OXO Tot Feeding Line that also includes Straw Cups and Training Cups. All OXO Tot Sippy, Straw, and Training Cup lids are interchangeable.
Safe and Convenient
The OXO Tot line of cups is BPA-, phthalate-, and PVC-free, so you'll have one less thing to worry about. And all are top-rack dishwasher safe for added convenience.

I also liked the easy grip sides on the cup for untwisting the lid and holding onto it to pour liquids in. This cup is perfect for a baby just learning how to use a sippy and even transitions as the child gets older as the handles can be taken off and the leakproof valve in the lid can be removed also.
A nice durable product that I would definitely use as a baby shower gift for any expectant mom.
1. The actual spigot part where the liquid comes out has a rubber stopper with two positions, completely closed and then another that only lets liquid through when someone intentionally sucks through the nozzle. You can turn it upside down and it will not leak. If you do like leaks or want the liquid flow to increase you can use this thing without the rubber stopper.
2. The handles are removable. I love that.
3. There is measure in ounces and ml on the side of the cup if you are monitoring your child's fluid intake.
4. The whole thing is dishwasher safe (top rack)
5. the shape of the cup itself even without the handles attached really lends itself to small hands.
I highly recommend this sippy cup. OXO really thought of everything with this one.
My, how things have changed!
I got this cup to use when babysitting my 9-month-old granddaughter, and am very impressed.
This attractive cup has detachable ergonomically designed handles that are easy for young hands to grasp and manipulate, as well as making the cup very easy to clean. The body of the cup itself also has grip pads for times when you may decide to leave the handles detached. Other than the grip pads, the body's transparent so that you can see how much liquid remains inside.
The lid screws on securely, and features a concave recess that allows room for young noses to fit into while drinking, making it easier for tykes to use. The mouthpiece features a detachable flow-control valve, assuring the beverage ends up in the mouth and not on your floor.
It sounds simple, and pretty much a no-brainer, but if you remember the cups from "back in the day", things have come a long way.
This is a terrific product. Well done, OXO!
Pros of the new valve: The new valve allows almost free flow of liquid, while the old one was super low flow and took effort to drink from. I tried drinking out of both. With the old style, I had to suck hard. With the new style, I only had to suck a little. For the old style valve, the idea is that you start the baby with the valve in, and then transition to no valve as soon as baby is coordinated enough not to dump it on himself, and then eventually transition to no lid at all so baby is drinking from a cup. I think that with this one, you keep the valve in. The new valve really is no spill, and didn't leak when I left the cup on it's side for a few minutes. They also changed the way the valve attaches to the lid, so that it snaps into place. With the old style, the valve would fall off randomly leaving a non spill proof cup to dump on baby. This one the valve hasn't come off.
Cons of the new valve: It just doesn't seem as if I will be able to clean it well. I am only going to use water with this sippy cup - no formula or juice because of the valve looking hard to clean and me not being able to get to all parts of it. Another con is that lids and valves are not compatible between the old and new style. So, the inside of the lid has a different connector to snap it to the valve.Read more ›
