When I first opened the box and took this out I was a bit disappointed. It looked to small to hold my really long spoons and I worried it would tilt. I was wrong. The oxo utensil holder is very stable and holds a ton of kitchen tools! The other pros for me are that it's stainless steel, the bottom rubber has a nice grip plus keeps my counters safe, and it rotates, making it very easy to grab whatever I need sitting by the stove.

These two utensil holders replaced three ceramic mugs I used to have. These are much better. They are more stable (don't tip over). hold more, have dividers to separate into like objects and they rotate so it's easier to get to the utensils. Good product!

We kept gathering more and more utensils for our kitchen, so our single (old) Calphalon holder wasn't cutting it anymore. So, I ordered two of the Oxo "good grips" rotating holders, one for each side of our range, and I'm very happy with the product. They look nice, the bottoms have traction features so once you place it on your counter, it stays put, and the holder is internally divided to keep things neater. The entire holder rotates with hardly any effort so you can get to the right "side" of your holder to get the utensil you need. It's hard to beat the deal and the product is very nice.

Oh, I ADORE this utensil holder. I used to use the other OXO stainless utensil holder (that is oblong - search for "OXO Good Grips Brushed Stainless Steel Utensil Holder" on Amazon). Compared to the other holder, the rotating holder:

- Allows you to find your utensils much more quickly
- Stores your utensils in a more upright position
- Prevents your utensils from leaning against each other as much. It still leans to some extent, but MUCH less than the other holder
- Somehow allows me to hold more utensils, even though it is physically smaller than the other one
- Takes up far less counter space
- Shows far less grease/fingerprints

I give it five stars wholeheartedly as an upgrade from my former utensil holder. In the future, I would be interested in a larger version of the rotating holder. Perhaps a larger diameter with one more divider? But I am a very happy cook with this new one. :)

I bought this for my Mom and she cannot imagine her kitchen without it! She has told me she doesn't know how she has made it thirty years without using one of these to clear some space in her drawers. Plus, it is very easy to grab a utensil quickly while your cooking as you do not have to dig through your drawer to find what you need. I actually bought one for myself as well!!!

I really like this item and it keeps my utensils organized on my kitchen counter while looking chic. The utensils don't stand perfectly up but it is ok they still stay organized in the 3 compartments

Like another reviewer, I found the initial appearance of this compact utensil holder to be deceiving - it holds much more than I thought it would. The holder's height and three dividers keep utensils upright, and the weighted bottom keeps it stable. It spins easily and quietly. Highly recommended!

I just replaced all the appliances in the kitchen so I needed to do something with the stuff on the counter. The stainless steel was it. My surprise was, how much more handy the rotating made a simple utensil holder. It's great!

This rotating utensil holder is amazingly sturdy and has three separate compartments inside to organize your kitchen utensils. I simply love it! Easy to clean and looks great near the stove.

I put this utensil holder on my birthday wishlist and was very happy that my mother-in-law purchased it for me. I didn't realize when I initially looked at it that it not only has dividers, but grooves in the bottom to help organize your utensils and help them stand up straighter. This is great for me because my previous utensil holder was a large plastic popcorn bucket which was very similar to a small trash can - all my utensils were jumbled together and hard to get to. The popcorn bucket was also very overcrowded because I like to have a lot of extra spatulas and spoons. Unfortunately, I still have to use the popcorn bucket because the new one is not big enough for my excessive collection of utensils, but I will eventually be replacing it with a second of this same utensil holder.

Things I like about this product:
1) the dividers and grooves
2) it says it is dishwasher safe (I have not washed mine yet)
3) rotates very easily
4) looks great!
5) excellent price (much less attractive and less functional products are available at walmart for the same price)

If you are considering buying this, I say you should definitely do it!
