I wish these all stainless ones came in larger sizes (if they do, I didn't see them) as this 3.3 quart size is not quite big enough to hold a whole bag of flour or sugar. But when I'm opening a bag of flour, I'm using a cup or two right away, so it's not perfect, but will probably suffice.
I also wish their line of rectangular press top lid containers were all stainless like these instead of clear plastic with stainless lids, because that would be my ideal container--rectangular and unbreakable. Something durable that seals, fits well in my pantry shelf and stacks nicely would be so great!
But these have everything except shape going for them and far are effective. I'm storing coffee in a smaller one and flour and sugar in a few of the biggest ones. The press top lids are a little weird to get used to, but seal well. My brother-in-law loves the lids; he thinks there's a coolness factor to them.
My husband's complaint of not being able to see what's inside was easily taken care of with a 20 dollar ptouch and labels. We're tough on glass containers and the larger stainless containers with silicon seals haven't held up very well. We'll see how these do over time.
