Product Description

The OXO Good Grips Mini Angled Measuring Cup is now available in durable stainless steel. These revolutionary Cups feature a patented angled surface that lets you read measurement markings by looking straight down into the Cup and eliminates the need to fill, check and adjust the amount of liquid you are measuring. The Mini Cup features ounce and tablespoon markings for measuring small amounts of liquid ingredients like vanilla extract, lemon juice, or soy sauce. Try the Mini Cup at the bar for mixing drinks too. And keep a spare on hand for non-food uses like measuring laundry detergent, plant food and more. Dishwasher safe.

Customer Reviews

Their products are well designed and made.
Wise Sage
Nice jigger, easy to measure up to 2 oz with, and I love the pour spout, which is the main reason that I bought this over a standard jigger.
AeonDemigod
This is the perfect bar tool for cocktails.

Although I'm still more partial to Ikea's 4 ounce beaker-esque glass measuring vial/jigger, this one is a lot more practical and a heck of a lot more durable as well. It feels solid, substantial, and expensive. It's clearly marked with up to 2 ounce markings in such a way that even middle-age slightly inebriated drink mixers can read without thinking twice about it, and it's dishwasher safe. I don't think I've ever seen a better metal jigger in my life. Thank you, OXO, for making my evening.

Amazing measurement device. Perfect for the home bar and kitchen. OZ and TSP measurements great for recipes that jump around with metrics.

I already had this measurer in the plastic model. We use it for cocktails, so the plastic one was getting a bit beated up from the constant contact with citrus juice and alcohol. The stainless is much better from that perspective, but there are not as many measurement increments as with the plastic version; I think this just has .5, 1, 1.5, 2 oz markings, while the plastic one had the .25 markings. All in all, i'm still happy.

I had been thinking about buying one of these for a while and I'm glad I did.

I was tired of spilling alcohol when using traditional, cone-shaped jiggers -- whether they were made out of stainless steel or plastic.

I bought the OXO Steel Angled jigger because I liked the idea that it could sit flat on any surface while I poured. That meant that I didn't have to hold the jigger while measuring (as compared to traditional jiggers), I could just focus on the pour.

I also liked the possibility of being able to see the measurement while looking straight down into the jigger as I poured (thanks to the angled measurement surface/markings). With other jiggers, I would worry about spilling alcohol all over my counter when trying to measure up to rim. Luckily, the pour spout at the top eliminates that problem by "focusing" the final pour thanks to its slightly curved edges. There's also ample headspace between the 2-ounce/4-tablespoon measurement marking and the rim of the jigger itself, further ensuring that spills don't happen.

With all that said, measuring with the OXO Steel Angled jigger takes a little practice. I've noticed that I tend to have better pours using bottles that have longer, skinnier necks versus larger, heavier bottles with shorter necks (1.75L bottles of New Amsterdam Gin come to mind). To avoid spills with this jigger, just make sure that the mouth of the bottle is aimed near the center of the jigger and not so much near the edge of it. Until you get the hang of it, you can expect some spills.

As far as accuracy is concerned, you're going to under-pour or over-pour no matter which jigger you use, even if it's the OXO Steel Angled jigger.

Brings the functionality and ease of some of Oxo's other products to the bar. This measuring jigger allows you to pour out bigger portions which is nice to accurately make larger or multiple drinks.

Love it, really cool design. everyone always asks about it when we have it out. we also own a clear plastic one. the plastic one is easier to read, but for the bar and keeping things classy, this is it.

It's great for measuring spirits and you can easily see how much you've poured by looking down as you're pouring. Gone are the days of pouring and then getting down to eye level with a measuring cup.

I dig the concept here, but the measurement lines are a little faint. They should be a much higher contrast to make it easy to see. Fix that issue and this is a 5 star jigger in my opinion.
