5.0 out of 5 stars Good ergonomics.
I like these spoons a lot:
-my hand doesn't cramp,
-silicone coat is save for baby's mouth, softer than plastic (my son can safely play with it),
-dishwasher safe; no sings of wear at all after 5 months of everyday use so far,
-deep enough to scoop food and liquid, but not that deep to leave some food after every bite (like Munchkin colorful 6 pack).

2.0 out of 5 stars Too hard for baby
I used these spoons the first time I introduced solids to my son at 6 months. He immediately took the spoon, put it in his mouth and started chewing on it. Since they are metal inside they are very hard and this did not make for a happy baby. Thankfully, I had other spoons that were soft and flexible (Beaba); they worked much better for us. These are also pretty deep,...

5.0 out of 5 stars A pleasure for old(er) parents, January 19, 2011

As a 39 1/2 year old 6 foot tall foster mother with large hands and a 9 month old...these spoons are perfect. I had been using the long Gerber ones with the incredibly thin handle and my hands would literally cramp mid meal. A touch of early arthritis doesn't help. I already know I'm getting up there but I really don't appreciate a spoon reminding me of it. Never would have spent this much on spoons but didn't hesitate when I saw them in a store. Used one for the first time today and I think a tear of joy rolled down my cheek.

4.0 out of 5 stars Finally Great Spoons!, December 18, 2010

Finally baby spoons that are not only soft on my baby's mouth but also help swipe all the last bits of food out of the bowl...like a built in spatula! They are especially good for getting the last bits of yogurt out of the small containers (a huge pet peeve of mine before I found these spoons). The spoon head is also a bit deeper than most other brands so it helps to keep the food inside the spoon and not on the floor. Overall great design and functionality - two thumbs up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great spoons, March 10, 2011

I just started my baby on solids a couple of weeks ago. I've been using the munchkin white hot safety spoon, but my hands were starting to cramp because the handle is so short. I love these OXO feeding spoons. They're soft so my baby's gums aren't scraped, and the spoon part is a little deeper than the munchkin ones so it holds food better. It also scrapes the walls of jars well so you can get every last bit of food. And it gets a bonus point for looking modern and cool =)

5.0 out of 5 stars Love these spoons, January 16, 2012

I absolutely love these! I bought these and the Munchkin ones. I've been using the Munchkin ones, but I finally used this spoon this past weekend, and I'm never going back. It's easy for me to feed bub. He gets all the food off the spoon. No hand cramping. Naturally curved when you "swish the food in and lift up" motion.

I did notice one of them had cracks. Not sure if that happened in the dishwasher?

Even though I found $6.99 for 2 spoons to be on the steeper side, I do not regret buying these spoons.

The spoon has a very good angle which makes it easier to feed. I also purchased plastic munchkins spoons for much cheaper (just so I can compare) that I don't really use since I bought the OXO spoons. The silicone tip is also great because while introducing solids to a 6 month old, she tends to bite the spoon (accidentally) and it doesn't hurt her gums. I really love this spoon and I don't think I will need any other kind! Highly recommended!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best baby spoon, August 23, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have tried a few different baby spoons for feeding my 6 month old and wasn't thrilled with any of them. This one had good reviews, so I thought it was worth a try. These are great baby spoons - comfortable for me to hold, are coated for safety, and do a nice job of scooping up bits of food (on the face and the bowl).

I am very happy with these spoons. They get every last bit of food out from bagged baby food and scrape the glass bowls I use to serve in clean. My baby is teething and loves chewing on the soft tip of this spoon in between bites too. A total winner, even if they do cost a bit more than others.

I bought these for feeding solids. They well designed for little mouths. The silicone cover is perfect for feeding little ones since they tend to bite on everything. The silicone cover protects my little one's teeth from the metal. My mom loves this spoon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Holds in liquids!, May 21, 2011
This spoon is great because its much deeper than other spoons on the market. We'll be using these through the toddler years I'm sure.
