5.0 out of 5 stars A new twist on vampires and the woods., February 18, 2005
This review is from: The Oak Clan (Paperback)
"The Oak Clan" is exciting and full force thriller. Jarrod has captured the true essence of a vampire in a lead container and unleashed it to the world. The book keeps you reading and wanting more. Turn the pages and the reader will be in a new world and looking at cold trees a different way. Read this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fresh new horror novel, April 4, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Oak Clan (Hardcover)
This is one of the best books I've read in while! It has a great new kind of vampire that's never been covered before (at least not that I know of) and the ghosts in here are really, REALLY disturbing. When Rick Jenderson, an escaped serial killer, gets mixed up with them all, things definitely start to heat up. The physical quality of the hardback book is great. Well worth the money! I found more information on this book at the publisher's website, www.authorhouse.com One thing is for sure: The next time I go into the woods at night, I'll be watching the trees a lot more closely.

5.0 out of 5 stars The better of the paperbacks, April 4, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Oak Clan (Paperback)
There are two paperback versions of The Oak Clan on this site. The one published through authorhouse/1stbooks is the best one. The other (Internet Book Company) is an older and is lesser in quality. Of course, the hardback copy is best by far because it's...well...hardback. This book is awesome! It has an amazing new twist on vampires (yes, it's possible even with all the different vampire tales out there) as well as ghosts and a really wild serial killer. Anyone who is a fan of Stephen King, Anne Rice, or just grade B horror moives is sure to get a kick out of this!
