With her as your guide, it's fun to engage in the various beauty treatments the book takes you through - from massages and moisturizers to fragrances and fashion. But, while Oasis offers tons of practical beauty tips, it features so much more than that. For each way it shows you how to look beautiful on the outside, it helps you develop spiritual beauty on the inside. Reading this book will renew your soul even more than a spa visit will refresh your body!

AWESOME book! I've underlined so much so I can come back for a quick review. Loved the practical little personal spa ideas for myself as well as the message about being at God's Spa! Don't miss this book.

This is a unique book with an inspirational flavor encouraging a woman to take care of themselves - body, soul, and spirit. Everson points out how easy it is to get so busy that we begin to feel frazzled and stressed. I think every woman will shout "Amen!"
The author admits she's a "high maintenance" girl and this comes out in the book. There were things I couldn't relate to because I've never been a "girly, girl". I'm very "low maintenance," but that doesn't mean you won't be able to relate! My daughter would totally love some of Everson's ideas (you see, she IS a girly, girl!).

The author uses words from Scriptures and other women to encourage, uplift and revitalize. This book will help you restore order to your life and refresh your soul.

Oasis is a spa for both the body and the soul. The author has skillfully combined pertinent information on how to take care of yourself in easy and inexpensive ways, with emphasis on whole body care which includes not only the physical but clearly ties each section to areas for spiritual growth and care. Good practical tips throughout makes this a book that you can refer back to as you age and confront new areas that need refinement....again both physically and spiritually. Makes a great gift for a new mother, or an empty nester, anyone who needs a quick pick up in life.
