4.0 out of 5 stars Oasis Game
Great game. Beautiful music. Has 4 levels of play, easy, average, hard and impossible. I got my copy from RealArcade. The only draw back was I would have liked to have more time to explore/build roads before being attacked. Bonus round was repetitive.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not as much fun as I thought
This game wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be, and I wasn't expecting much. I figured there would be more to building up your troops. Nope all you do is build roads to connect cities and explore to get get more people. Then when you are attacked you just click on the city nearest the enemy and they fight. There is no strategy involved at all. That being said if...

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful game, July 14, 2006

This is a game that does many things right. Fun to play, subtle strategy, good music, and can be played in under 15 minutes. Many of us "gamers" do not have hours to spare playing RTS type games. Oasis is a fun diversion and well worth the price. Highly recommended!

This was the cheapest game I have ever purshased. My husband played it for hours. I told him how much it was and he couldn't believe it. After a year he still gets it out and plays it.

There is no strategy involved at all. That being said if your looking for a game to play when you only have 5 or 10 mins it's good for that. Also it's only 49 cents so if you add it to a order that qualifies for free shipping the price is great. But if you have to pay the shipping don't waste you money.

I am an avid history type game player. games such as Age of Empires (AOE) and Age of Empires II, Age of Mythology, Age of Empires III etc etc, if your expecting this game to be that way, it's not even close. There was no thought put into the game, which is why the game can be bought for $1 now. It's boring and doesn't require any thinking. Nothing exciting about the game. Which again is why the game is $1. I have no problems with the other people who reviewed it and gave it 4-5 stars. Not every game is for everyone. To me, it isn't even worth the one dollar.
