Lucid explanation. Decent pictures. Reveiw + questions all-in-one.
As a sonography student, I'd been looking for an ultrasound book that is not too technical to read but gives important background to build a good foundation. I have plenty of required textbooks on my shelf, but I soon realized that their target audience is radiologists. This Ob/Gyn review fits my need. It's got to-the-point explanations and decent pictures and diagrams...

Don't waste your money.
I'll keep it short and brief. If you are studying for your OB boards, this is the WORST book to use. I took my OBGYN boards and passed NOT using this book. Davies makes the worst study materials (I had their ABD/Physics reviews and hated those). Get your hand on Elderman's OBGYN review and you'll pass. I used Elderman and Appleton and...

As a sonography student, I'd been looking for an ultrasound book that is not too technical to read but gives important background to build a good foundation. I have plenty of required textbooks on my shelf, but I soon realized that their target audience is radiologists. This Ob/Gyn review fits my need. It's got to-the-point explanations and decent pictures and diagrams for illustration. No doubt, the book is a bit expensive, but it saves me lots of time. Now when I go back to read those huge text, I understand better.
