As a sonography student, I'd been looking for an ultrasound book that is not too technical to read but gives important background to build a good foundation. I have plenty of required textbooks on my shelf, but I soon realized that their target audience is radiologists. This Ob/Gyn review fits my need. It's got to-the-point explanations and decent pictures and diagrams for illustration. No doubt, the book is a bit expensive, but it saves me lots of time. Now when I go back to read those huge text, I understand better.

I'll keep it short and brief. If you are studying for your OB boards, this is the WORST book to use. I took my OBGYN boards and passed NOT using this book. Davies makes the worst study materials (I had their ABD/Physics reviews and hated those). Get your hand on Elderman's OBGYN review and you'll pass. I used Elderman and Appleton and Lange's book), that should be enough. Bottom line.. I hate this book!. I will be selling it on EBAY, go there and buy it if you want to fail. |
