I'm a perennial Capitol Steps fan and look forward to April each year...which is when their new CD normally comes out. I have all of their CDs dating back to 1989. "Obama Mia" is another strong effort and includes some sensational hits (such as the title track), although (as with any album) there are a few tracks that are less-than-sensational. For those of us who love political satire -- and who can see the humor when Republicans and Democrats alike get ribbed -- this is a fun album and worth the money. However, if you're a humorless partisan on either side of the aisle, you might want to pass on this opportunity!

as usual the capitol steps have done it again. all of our politicians and popular idols need to have their egos punctured now and then. this is freedom of expression as envisioned by the framers. NO PERSON is above criticism.a vibrant democracy demands the freedom to speak, and expose the hypocrisy. humor is the best way of doing this. if you would humble a person ,cause, or idea, make fun of it !
