My son sent me four books about Obamacare. This was the worst book I have read in a very long time. There is no writing by the author here, all content is "compiled", other than his ridiculous statements about ways for "People to Make Money on Obamacare." Please don't buy this author's books that could encourage him to keep writing (he is self published). His only goal is to pad his pockets.

This book was supposed to be written as an alternative to another (so called) political view Obamacare book, however, the very first thing I read is political..and a down right lie regarding the Republican plan for Medicare. Although after I got past that part, which made me very angry..the rest of the book seems to capture the pros/cons of the Affordable Care Act. What is made more clear in this book is that Senior Citizens will become to know what "death panels" really are...what that really means is that a specific treatment can and will be withheld from Medicare patients depending upon their age and quality of health. I would suggest that any senior citizen that needs any type of medication or surgery to prolong their life, will be denied the treatment because they are at the end of their lives anyway. This book has spelled that out better than any other book I have read. However, at the end of the book, it goes on to tell people how to "make money" off the system. I feel this is wrong to advise people to be dishonest and take advantage of a system just because there may be a loophole. This is why so many people are dependent upon the government for their daily needs rather than learning to take care of themselves and follow the same rules as everyone else that is honest does.

I feel this would have been an ok book, if it has left all political thoughts out of it, but it is also a shame that such a book written to advise people to take advantage of other taxpayers to not buy insurance until they need it is dishonest, and this loophole should be closed. This is one thing I will personally write to my congressman/woman about...

For a book that is advertised as easy to understand, it falls short of the mark. Also, it comes across as strongly anti-republican, not necessary when trying to explain what the healthcare law is about. As a small business owner, I still am not sure how it affects me.

Plenty of information is in there, but it doesn't seem organized well. It needs more tables and charts to present the info in a more easily understandable fashion.

It was written in plain, understandable English and explained the ObamaCare Act very clearly. We enjoyed it because it gave us the information we were looking for.

Author must be a friend of Pelosi to make suggestions such as quitting your job if you must find your own insurance.
