My lower level is finished, so I had to cut out some pieces of sheetorck from the lower level ceiling to install these, in order to end the squeaks on the upper level floor. So far they did work. At the spots these were installed, 95% of the noise disappeared. I think it will depend on the nature of your squeaks though. If the cause is the separation between the floor joist and the plywood supporting the finished floor, then this would work. In order to find out the cause, I guess you will just have to try.

Caution: for larger area of squeaking, one kit may not be enough. I used 2 for the first spot. Fortunately, the price is reasonable.

I will order more of these.

Not bad for what it is.....if you have a small squeak then it will work great...I have more than small squeak so I won't be buying anymore of these...It will take to many to stop the squeak....Installation was real easy and I had no issues at all....Just wish it was a little cheaper cause I would prefer to use these than wood shims but for the price it would cost me a lot!!! Recommended only for small squeaks...

This is a nice product in theory but the metal is too thin to take care of any large squeaks. I used 2 of them on 1 area and that in conjunction with wood glue took care of the squeek. Nice idea guys but beef it up.

I had 3 areas in my den that squeaked. I bought six squeak enders and the floor no longer squeaks. Installation is easy. I would recommend this product.

This product worked great to take out the squeek in my floor. I have laminate flooring and did not want to use nails from above. It was easy to install and took the squeek out.

I have hardwood floors on my main floor, but they've been squeaky for years now. I needed a way to eliminate the squeak and basement remodeling provided this opportunity. I tried toe-nailing the floor joists to the sub-floor, but this didn't work very well. This product does an excellent job, I just hope the results last.

I had a ranch in atlanta that had squeaks in it. so, I went to my lowe's store and got squeakender. They really do work. I went back

to get some more, and they didn't have anymore. Ive since moved to boston and had the same problem. so, I went to the home depot and they didn't have any. I am glad you guys do.

The squeak ender kit is a miracle in a small pgk. Using the instructions this product does exactly what it claims to do.

This product works as claimed however it is not constructed of the highest quality materials hence the 4 out of 5. Really easy install.

I had a popping groaning noise in my bathroom floor. After installing 2 of these spaced a few feet apart the noise is less noticeable but not gone. Same story on one of my bedroom floors.
