Mindi Barker
A celebration of life will be held from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at Lamb Cottage in Skinner Butte Park, Eugene, for Mindis "Mindi" Barker of Petaluma, Calif., formerly of the Eugene area. She died Sept. 1 of breast and bone cancer at age 54.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Donna Barker Fisher and Lloyd "Pa Pa" Fisher of Eugene; her life partner of nine years, Thomas Birch; two brothers, Bix Barker and Richard Bomareto, both of Eugene; and three sisters, Lesa Fisher, Kathy Cole and JoAnn Smith, all of Eugene.
