Best shoes I've put on my feet,

I now the title of this review sounds like some marketing person for Oboz or whatever, but I have to say that these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. I have a very hard time finding shoes for me because I tend to have a wide foot. I used to buy Merrell shoes but I had to switch because the shoe wasn't wide enough and a lot of times weren't very comfortable. I love my Keen sandals and tried to find a shoe that they made, but their shoes always wanted to slide off the back of my foot no matter how tight I laced them up.
The first time I put the shoes on, I loved how they felt on my feet. Not constrictive on my feet at all (Do like the other poster above me stated get the shoe a 1/2 size bigger). I walked out of the shoe store with these shoes on my feet and dropped my other shoes in the trash. I have not looked back since.

Solid footwear,

I was initially excited that Oboz was in Bozeman, but quickly found out this shoe is made in China too. The associate said to go a half size larger and that was good advice. It has an "ahh" feeling when I first put them on, which is a big expectation when I buy hiking footwear. Rarely does the fit improve over time when it doesn't feel very good to start with. I am pleased with my purchase, but would like to buy domestic manufactured gear.

Being a large footed lady I often purchase guys athletic shoes. These were purchased to replace Keen Targhee's. I loved the feel of this shoe -cushioning is great but I did return them because they were just too wide.
