Half the songs on this CD are not the real Animotion. One of our best songs, "I Engineer" went to No 2 in Europe isn't even on this compilation! A better choice is the one on Polygram label released 1996. See the official Animotion web site for more info and tour dates. [...]

Rebound's compilation delivers songs throughout the Animotion catalog . It contains some of the Hits (Obsession, I Want You, Room to Move, and Calling It Love) as well as several other tracks to fill in the gaps. This is not to say those songs are bad, on the contrary, you'll get to hear all the style changes of Animotion thruought the 1984-1989 period. Songs like "Holding You", and "Everything's Leading To You" are rare; as you would have to stumble across Animotion's first album "Animotion" [1984]. "House of Love" and "Message of Love" add more of a lighter semi-romantic in the album. For what Obsession was made for (a non "Best Of", and a budet collection) it delivers well. However, if you're a reall big Animotion fan, Obsession: The Best of Animotion delivers better than Obsession. Recommended mostly for the casual fan.

Enjoyed both the song and the video. Never knew that (much like ZZ Top's"Legs" ) there were 2 versions! So, I downloaded both....Can't swear to which I like better !
