This review is from: Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder: A Guide For Family, Friends, And Pastors (Hardcover)
Some good input, but not from a traditional Christian perspective. I found "Can Christianity Cure Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder" by Dr. Ian Osborn much more helpful and historically informative. Also, from a traditional Catholic perspective, books by Dr. Joseph Ciarrocchi are very good. This is the third book I've purchased by Robert Collie and I've found all of them to be wanting, both from clinical and religious perspectives. It may be due in part to his writing style, but I feel like offering that is generous. I found myself consistently asking questions about how he supports/explains his statements and feeling discontent with what I read.
