This review is from: The Obsidian Oracle (Dark Sun Prism Pentad, Book 4) (Paperback)
Too often, fantasy fiction is reduced to the good guy vs. the bad guy. But what happens when the two of them grew up together, and were the best of friends? It seems as if Tithian and Agis should try to destroy each other immediately, but memories of their past together are too powerful for that. Therein lies the strength of this book. Denning shows us the shattered friendship from both men's perspective, and takes the edge off absolutes of "good" and "evil."
