3.0 out of 5 stars A good source by a difficult path, June 19, 2000
Very detailed and sometimes boring contents.Question & answer format makes it more difficult to pick up key subjects.May be a good source for everyone but not for beginners.Strong references but lost in details. Many essential topics are absent. It can be a good test taken after a classic review...

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good review book!, July 12, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Obstetrics & Gynecology: PreTest Self-Assessment and Review (Paperback)
This book is a perfect review for the USMLE-2. It includes 500 question with pictures and X-rays. The questions are shorter than on real exam but they help you to concentrate on high-yeld topics and learn important details which are often missed in other review books. For example, SLE+pregnancy, TB+pregnancy...
The book is well-organized. The questions are arranged in chapters. For example, early pregnancy, fetal infections... This allows you to learn the topic first and than sharpen your knowlege using this book.
Perfect review!
