5.0 out of 5 stars A new look at UFOs
I found this author to be very easy to read & exciting. Although I agreed with most of the book I found his veiw point very different but enlightening. As a result I have bought his other books & am looking forward to any new releases by this author.

1.0 out of 5 stars So embarrassed that I bought this book....
I tend to kind of flip randomly through a book before sitting down to read it. That was a good thing in this case as it saved me from wasting a lot of time.

The first thing I read was a proposed theoretical scenario by the author.
Imagine there is this planet, he writes. Some aliens want to colonize it. They scope out the area for the appropriate places...

The author has written a book that has put in a simple context some of the more unusual theories about UFOs and the ancient gods of history. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read Book!, February 14, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Occult Connection: U.F.O.S, Secret Societies and Ancient Gods (Paperback)
I found The Occult Connection to be one of the best books that I have ever read. His use of comparisons between historical figures and some of the figures prominent in the UFO lore was particularily fascinating. All in all, I was captivated form the moment that I opened the book. I have also read some of his other work and I would place him head and shoulders above such authors as Dan Brown, Tom Clancy or Nero Stout.

I tend to kind of flip randomly through a book before sitting down to read it. That was a good thing in this case as it saved me from wasting a lot of time.

The first thing I read was a proposed theoretical scenario by the author.

Imagine there is this planet, he writes. Some aliens want to colonize it. They scope out the area for the appropriate places to put the colonists, their livestock and vehicles, etc. etc. Then Mr. Huddall asks you to imagine this is what happened on earth.

He then goes on to state his references for supporting that theory. One of them is the Bible. He says, regarding all the references, "Not one of them even came close to opposing my theory."

Let's see now. The Bible doesn't say that a colony came from another planet to earth. It says first a man, and then a woman, were created out of the dust of the earth, then YHWH blew the breath of life into them.

No mention of vehicles. There are animals mentioned, but they are stated as being there before Adam and Eve existed, not as being brought down by outer space colonists.

I did glance over another chapter, too. Huddall has a theoretical explanation for the three wise men of Scriptures also, they were, really.... early Men In Black. Rotfl.

Since the author has so little respect for his readers' ability to see obvious, gross, contradictions (hopefully that isn't a defect he has himself!) I could see there was no reason to trust anything else he had to say in the book. It is now in the garbage can. What a waste of good money! :-( Unless you have a quirky sense of humor and want some good laughs.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE This Book!, October 29, 2002

Hudnall has collected just about every bit of occult UFO lore I've ever heard a whisper of in one informative tome.

He weaves a plausible connection between the governments of our planet with the possible agendas of extraterrestrial invaders.

I didn't want to put this book down! I find myself referring to "The Occult Connection" again and again.

Hudnall promises in his next book to explore human and cattle mutilations that our news media will not report. I greatly look forward to reading about that!

I find it interesting that the only review of this book is written by the author's wife. It's a silly book by a silly man.
