The contents of this book covers many different areas of psychic development. The exercises were clear and concise, making them easy to follow and effective. The chapters on Spiritual Exercises was found to be especially helpful; with emphasis put upon such things as gratitude, steadfastness and calmness they provide a sound, commonsense foundation upon which to grow and continue to expand the consciousness. I found that by concentrating on the book as a holistic approach to the expansion of consciousness, all aspects of being were touched upon in a balanced and workable way. Through experimentation with the given material, it was found to be sound and effective. I recommend this for anyone who is approaching the experience of the realization of self and the environment within a balanced, holistic way. The book is easily understandable and useful, even for those with little training. However, also those who have had prior occult training will find many useful and informative suggestions within this book.

I found the exercises in this book clear and easy to understand. More than that, if practiced they produce results! Gareth Knight has credentials that can be trusted and a solid background in the occult and mysticism.

For all those wanting to find ways to explore, this is the book for you. I found the exercises to be clear and concise and easily done. Also I like the way that the author explores different ways of divination, even those that do not seem practical at a glance. I would recommend this book to anyone working any system

Gareth has pieced together an interesting set of exercises for new or old
students to work with. The one on past lives is especially good I think. My
friends and I worked for several weeks on that one and felt we obtained
definite increases of insight on the subject of reincarnation.
Especially for those who clamor for more "How to do it" activities, this
is your book.
