The purpose of this book is to provide a clear and concise account of the principles of occupational hygiene. It covers such areas as exposure to noxious substances in factories, objects falling from a partially completed building onto a workers head, the effects of noise and vibration, scalding by wayward coffee machines, irradiation of nuclear workers, and so on.
