These beads are so fun to create with. Making colorful fish dolphins and creating your own designs on the square board. My kids spend hours creating with these beads and even I enjoy designing the animals with them.

I discovered iron beads when my son's after school care had then for the children to create projects when they had an early dismissal from school or school was closed due to snowy weather. My son loved creating projects. So much so that I bought these for him over Christmas. He's created countless ornaments for the Christmas tree next year and I really enjoyed the hours of quiet time while he was creating his masterpieces! I think using the little beads to put on the templates really helps hand-eye coordination and the countless possibilities is create for a child's creativity. Rest assured, this will be one of many buckets of iron beads I will be buy.

I bought this for my 7 year old birthday, and it was a total hit. This set contains some really bright vibrant colors and create a high contrast, which is nice. All of the kids are a great deal of fun and easy to use. They build fine motor control by placing the little beads. The ironing part takes very little time to perform. A great rainy day activity!
my kids have also used them with fishing line and left a small hole to make things they can hang as well. They made some stars for the Xmas tree and different things such as that. Ok, where there is positive, there is negative I suppose...the beads can get away from you easily and storage is difficult without ziplock baggies or containers with lids. The bead will fall back apart at the edges if left in a hot location or if they are not ironed long enough also. And if you iron them too much they will melt slightly. That part is more a matter of learning.
