5.0 out of 5 stars Ocean Liner Paintings Cards, J. Batchelor, February 21, 2006

This review is from: Ocean Liners Paintings Cards (Card Books) (Card Book)
Reductions of twenty-four superb, highly detailed full-color paintings of ocean liners in 4-1/4 by 6 inch tear-out postcard format. There is a biographical synopsis for each vessel located on reverse sides of the covers. Artwork is of a more illustrative rather than an artistic nature which is generally preferred by the serious ocean liner enthusiast as it enhances the subject detail.

The only gross error detected was the inclusion of the likeness of the RMS Mauretania I (1907) in the location reserved for the RMS Titanic (1912), which caption and biography was, however, included.

My copy was an unused, like-new 5 year old paperback in superb condition. Priced as originally published. I was not disappointed with this purchase.
