I absolutely love this CD. I listen to it every night when going to bed. It completely knocks me out. My husband who dislikes listening to music as we sleep LOVES this CD. Recently I went away on a 2 week trip and took the CD with me. He missed listening to the nightly sound of the ocean, this says alot! I highly recommend it.

Remember, You have to like the sound of the ocean to like this.

I have been using various relaxation CD's for the past several years and have found Dr. Jeffrey Thompson's CD's to be the most helpful. For me, The Ocean Waves (Alpha Relaxation Solution) CD has become a mainstay in my quest for a more centered, peaceful and balanced experience of life.

Purely ocean sounds (no music), this cd calms me enough to focus on projects when my brain and body insists on flitting from one thing to another. I own several Jeffrey D. Thompson CDs, and this is one of my favorites.

This puts me to sleep better than his ocean wave CD with the Delta waves. I also use it for meditating. This CD really works. I bought 5 of his CD's. This one works the best for me.

I enjoyed this cd more than other relaxation cds because it had a constant sound. The waves sound realistic. The sounds were not constant in other cds I've used to fall asleep to in the past, which would cause me to wake up. There is nothing more aggavating than finally falling asleep to a cd to have it snap you awake with a loud sound as the cd comes to an end. This cd perfectly lulls me to sleep and I stay there long after the cd is finished.

My Husband and I had recently returned from a cruise, and realized how much better we relaxed and slept with the sounds of the ocean and decided to try this. We loved it! It is the perfect "white noise" to smooth out all the ordinary sounds of residential living and really helped us have a better sleep. I would recommend this!

I have a niece who is a massage therapist and she expressed a desire for a CD of ocean waves. For a Christmas gift, I searched Amazon (where else??) and found this one. Not knowing if it would be any good, I purchased it. She now uses it almost exclusively for her massages. I got the chance to listen while receiving one and it is fabulous! There is nothing else to say.

I bought this waves Cd to help me go to sleep at night. I've had a problem with insomnia for months. When I listen to it after going to bed at night, it really is relaxing and helps me to fall asleep. Sometimes I have to play it twice but it definately helps me relax. I like this one a lot because it has ONLY the sound of the waves coming to shore, and not a mix of nature sounds like birds chirping, or thunderstorms. It's just plain relaxing. If you have trouble going to sleep, I'd recommend it highly.

I was pleased that it was all just the sound of the waves. It took a couple nights use before the relaxation aspect came into place. Very pleased with the product.

I have a hard time getting to sleep and usually listen to a relaxation disc all the way to the end and I am still awake. I can't make it to the end of this disc, it is so soothing and relaxing it just knocks me out. I love it.
