"The visual "experience" is absolutely mesmerizing and, coupled with the magnificent soundtrack, made for one of the most satisfying and enjoyable experiences I have had on a personal computer. The OceanLife series also carried with it one of the most seamless and silky smooth interfaces that I have used on any CD-ROM." --

"The Great Barrier Reef is the worlds largest coral formation, stretching over 2300 km, or roughly the distance between Miami and Portland, Maine. Its not really a single, continuous reef, but rather a huge assemblage of reefs, shoals, and islands. The outer part of these reefs follows the outer edge of the continental shelf. The distance from shore to the outer edge varies tremendously, from only 30 km in the far northern section to 260 km in the southern portion. The sparkling blue waters of the Coral Sea lie immediately eastward, containing scattered reefs and shoals that rise sharply to the surface."
