my view of the 'Oceans',

I first heard this band by seeing them in concert in Toronto recently (and I really enjoyed it) so I picked up their cd. Its really excellent. Kinda of reminded me of Switchblade Symphony or a moody Depeche with female vocals. Oceans is kinda of two mini albums put together with regular songs on the first part and remixes done for the second part which surprisingly work really good together. The other thing that impressed me was the really solid lyrics(especially for a debut). The best tracks are 'Lost', 'Antique Valentine' and the 'baby fresh' remix of 'waves of perfume'. Highly recommended!

I DJ and was sent a copy of this CD, and well, it's a great CD! I'd strongly suggest that all the goth folk out there get it. Nice addition to any collection.
