Joelle Dresden Haskell was born and raised all over America with her roving band of nomads and cats.

Under their whip-wielding taskmastery, she slaved sleeplessly to learn the arts of wordsmithing, artsmithing, and musicsmithing. Her anvil is a varied one; the coals in the furnace are made primarily of video games and fantasy flicks.

Two decades of rigidly enforced literation culminated in the Ocera suite, a set of novels, short stories, poems, and a gamut of illustrations and musical compositions to accompany them.

She thusly made her first foray into Kindledom, set out to make a real whizz-bang of an author profile, and shortly thereafter realized I hate writing about myself in the third person.
