We bought this tent as an alternative to renting one for our wedding reception. Hands down it was the right thing to do. Our guests were amazed at the transformation of our backyard. Not the typical feel of the square 'graduation tent' and not as expensive as renting a fancier tent for one day. Arrived on time, easy to set up if you have a couple people to help. You can lay out the parts easily due to the labels, although the diagram on the instructions has very small print. You'll need the extra people to hold things in the air as someone runs around and puts the legs in place to prevent any of the bars from bending. The way the 'peaks' are made is via a nice handle you can tighten by standing on the ground, which tightens the roof. The tighter the roof the better the water sheds (doesn't form pools). A nice quality fabric, which kept our tables dry (it rained after our party, not a downpour, but wet enough). Not sure it would hold up in heavy winds. We had it up for at least a week of decent weather without any issue and it looked as nice as the day we put it up.

When I received this tent I was so happy and began unpacking it right away. The capony is of a very good quality but the frame is poorly constructed. It needs more reinforcement and I my opinion is way too substandard for the canopy. after it was assembled we constatly had to be reconnecting the pipes as they tend to go apart very easily. I am extermely disappointed with this product

The tubing is extremely thin and bends easily, making it virtually impossible to properly secure if the wind picks up as they just bend.We lost 2 of our three, ending up with twisted wrecks. 1 before the wedding and one after. Hopefully, they will provide replacement parts, as the canopy was good. They did look great up, and served a purpose.

I purchased this for my son's wedding reception in our yard. Overall, the canopy was exactly what we were looking for. However, I was so busy that I had to have people from the bride's family put this up. I am not certain that they put it together correctly as the directions were almost non-existent. As a result, they had trouble getting some of the slide in corners to line up perfectly so that the pins did not align with the holes. With a little work with a hammer we got that done. I was a bit concerned about wind as we can get some real gusts in our yard. We staked it down with the included stakes and had no problems whatsoever.

The canopy looked great and worked exactly as planned. I have had many people who attended the wedding ask me where I got it and want to buy it from me for their upcoming receptions. The church wants me to donate it so they can use it as well.

It is a real nice unit. Better assembly directions would be a real asset.

I purchased this tent for both my sons and daughters wedding receptions which were about a month apart. 20 minutes before my daughters reception, a violent storm kicked up creating 50 MPH wind gusts and a torrential downpour. I thought for sure the tent was gonna be blown to OZ, but it withstood the deluge, and after about 1 hour, the storm passed and all was well.

Like the description says: stake and secure properly. The little stakes that come with the tent are horribly inadequate. I used the angled or V shaped stakes that came with another camping gazebo I had. The tent needs staked about 2-3 feet from each leg to insure the best security possible, and the cords need to be taut. Make sure all the finger bolts that hold the poles together are tightened as well. When putting the poles together to form the framework we found that a little tape on each connection helped keep things in place during assembly. The tape also helped keep the framework together during the violent wind gusts.

Even with the few complaints, I give this tent 5 stars. The neighbors and guests really liked it.

This tent was PERFECT for my son's 2nd birthday party outside! When I called to check on rental prices of a tent and tables/chairs it was over $1,000 and then I got to searching for party tents and found this one which had the best reviews. For the party, I still came out ahead by just renting the tables/chairs and purchasing this tent which I will plenty of times in the future for birthday parties or parties in general. I LOVE it!!

The tent was fabulous, everyone love it...It takes about 5 people to put it up and the only disappointing thing was the material, I was expecting the material to be thicker, especially for the price.

I purchased this tent for my husband's 40th Birthday Party. We had room for about 50 people to sit down and eat in the tent. I am happy we had the tent because we couldn't fit all 75 guests in our house and it rained that afternoon. The tent protected our guests from the rain. Thankfully it was a light rain since the tent isn't water proof. It is only water resistant. The tent was missing some parts when we got it and I wouldn't have noticed they were missing if we didn't try and set it up a week before the event. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent the missing pieces immediately. You need to have at least eight adults to help you put up this tent. It isn't easy. We left the tent up for two weeks and it stayed up beautifully. Definately worth purchasing considering it costs about $400 to rent the same one.

I bought this tent for my wedding ceremony in a park. No center pole as I was looking. I am so happy of the style, & design of this tent. This tent comfortably seats 50 people inside. This octagonal tent let me accomodate 50 chairs: 25 in each side and I used the between to put the runner aisle 2 pillars, a huge arch and a table; also space enough for 2 musicians and however we had plenty room to walk. 4 people are needed to construct the tent. The shipment was very fast. For the price, the quality and uses are worth it.

We bought this tent for our son's wedding. It is a beautiful style and sturdy. We were slightly cramped with around 60 people but with the sides open it was better. Probably just right for around 50 people. We had lots of rain before the wedding and it was a problem keeping water from filling around the edges. Solved the problem with more rope pulling the tent extra taut from the gromets down to the bases. No one seamed to mind the extra rope. FYI use a hammer and block of wood to seat the poles that have buttons that spring into the holes. Didn't use the sides. Now have a tent for more weddings and family gatherings. Good purchase. Just a little more than renting one.
