The temperature on my AMD X2 6000+ showed a small drop using the OCZ Vendatta 2 HSF using Noctua's thermal compound. When I removed theatsink to replace the fan unit, I cleaned it using the Arctic Silver Thermal Compound remover kit, then applied the OCZ Freeze Extreme Thermal Compound. CPU temperature has dropped 3-4 degrees which calculates out at 10% difference over the Noctua Thermal Paste. I highly recommend the OCZ Freeze Thermal Compound.

my temps dropped 5deg C just by applying this paste over what the stock paste on the frezzer 7 pro comes with on my old e6600, I now have a q9450 and the ocz cooler that gives me even lower temps with this paste. it's as good as the other silver based pastes out there but costs less so +1 also for value.

It works, but be careful as to how much you apply, a little dab with do ya!

The best cooler compound. I have this with thermalright 120 ultra extreme q6600 3.420mhz vcore 1.4 idle 34~37oC full load never pass over 55oC

Good deal. high quality,works well,dropped my CPU temp,this is an excellent item. I've built several systems and used this thermal paste everytime. never had any issues.

OCZ Freeze Thermal Conductivity Compound - Works better than most. I tried another thermal compound but only to have the same results of overheating CPU that results in automatic shut down. I have had no automatic shut down from an overheated cpu using this OCZ Freeze Thermal Compound. Not all thermal compounds are created equal. I am very pleased with this product.

My computer's heat sink fan used to kick into high gear for the longest time, and it turned out that it was due to all of the original thermal compound being almost completely gone. The noise of that fan used to annoy me all the time, but ever since I used this stuff, it's stayed pretty silent. Computer temperature used to average a consistent 50C, but now it stays in the high 30s to mid 40s. Not sure if this stuff is the best or not, but it did the job for me.

I've used OCZ thermal paste for years now. My last tube actually lasted me probably almost a decade now. When I originally bought it, I was sure to research it out. I knew of AS5 and other compounds but for the price, you usually paid more. OCZ's compound always ranked well in the tests and didn't break your wallet. After years of using it, I agree. Stuff works great and it isn't a pain to remove if you have to change CPUs/heatsinks. I've messed with a lot of other pastes that are just terrible to apply and remove but OCZ isn't. Never had to use a surface cleaner to get it off even after years of use. But I do use the Articlean kit anyways to make sure its totally clean. Which I do recommend. The kit comes with a remover and a purifier. One droplet from either is enough so they last a long time too. Just really smelly stuff.

This stuff really helps temps a lot. If you are doing a new build and you see thermal compound preapplied on a heatsink. Scrap it off and put this on. It's worth it. Preapplied stuff tends to bake and then crack up or get brittle. This stuff doesn't.

Great stuff. I like the fact that its not metal-based. The price used to be good too since it did not contain any silver. But as it becomes more and more rare, I had to pay a fair premium to get it.

Good stuff, a little bit goes a long way, non-conductive. I read alot of reviews and comparisons before purchase, this is the stuff would I recommend.
