3.0 out of 5 stars Definately OddTodd, but gets old pretty quickly...
I found that anything beyond the OddTodd 5 minute flash-animation gets boring pretty quickly. Really quickly.

Still, If you're an OddTodd fan, buy the book. You will probably flip through it once or twice and then leave it on the cof-ay table. When you next have a Part-ay your friends (real or imaginary) will pick up the book and chuckle a little bit.
(Plus you...

What's the worst thing about bein' unemployed? (Other than the lack of mon-ay and no health insurance?) One of the biggies is that feeling of being all alone in the situation and not knowing what to do.
Well, this book will walk you through the basics of what is required of being an unemployed person. tOdd will teach you (in a step-by-step manner)on proper attire, menu planning, and scheduling your valuable "nothing" time. The author is even generous enough to share with the reader his valuable interview tips, ways to make your resume unforgettable, and new career options for the reader.

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll want cook-ays and coff-ay and you'll wonder how someone so fun-ay could be unemployed.
Buy the book-it's a good dealio and he really could use the mon-ay.

So buy it. And get one for your friend whose job is totally iffy. Makes a great gift.

5.0 out of 5 stars hilarious!, April 29, 2003
This review is from: The Odd Todd Handbook: Hard Times, Soft Couch (Paperback)
If you haven't already, go to ... and check out this guy's cartoons! If that won't convince you to buy this book, nothing will. Basically, it all started with Todd and his unemployment woes, and each cartoon is absolutely hilarious. The guy is a comedic genius when it comes to capturing the essence of people in the 2000's. Reading this book and watching his cartoons are absolutely hilarious because it reminds you of yourself and of people you know. He seriously strikes a chord.

Instead of needing a computer to enjoy OddTodd's unintentional wit, now we can have it in book form and read it whenever we want, wherever we want, whenever we need a good dose of laughs. He makes fun of our hectic life, and it's all the funnier knowing it's stemming from his life, and all the more genuine and honest.

5.0 out of 5 stars The hardcore unemployed, November 22, 2003

Grab your cof-fay, turn off sponge bob from the tube, and sit down with this book for a few minutes. What book have you recently read that combines wicked insights, nihilistic stoicism, and just plain stupidity in one reading? Keep this man on the dole so we can see more books like this one!

I bought this book for my boyfriend and I kept picking it up to read bits and pieces - I was hooked. Everything made me laugh, I laughed until I cried and I finally had to put the book down and well ... do work.

I guarantee anyone will enjoy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars I laughed my [rear] off, April 29, 2003
This review is from: The Odd Todd Handbook: Hard Times, Soft Couch (Paperback)
From beginning to end, this book is packed with the same great humor as oddtodd's movies. Whether you already have a job, are looking for a job, or don't ever want to work again, this book offers excellent ideas on how to spend a day doing so much of absolutely nothing. There were many times I had to put the book down until I stopped laughing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thanks Odd Todd!, April 28, 2003

Laugh out loud hysterical! A wonderfully written and brilliantly illustrated book. Like nothing I have ever read before. This guy is a true genius and a voice of his generation. Can't wait to see what happens next with "the Guy In the Blue Robe" and, more importantly, his creator, "Odd Todd." In these trying times, we all owe Odd Todd a tremendous thank you!

Odd Todd has done it again, this time in printed word. You don't need to hear his voice (like on his net cartoons) for him to come alive where ever you happen to be reading. Not a slave to your computer screen, now you are free to take Todd everywhere, even his worst fear, the bathroom!
