Was really surprised that I got the last post, but fortunately, Roy Orbison was still on my mind from yesterday. LOL

Nite to all.

Rose, it was fun watching the show again. I thought it was after A Change is Gonna Come. Was surprised that it was No Boundaries.

How on God's green earth can I feel bad for a thread being over..(hearing It's Over didn't help MusicX3)
...
...Hats off to Krickette!!! She gave us a thread to express our odd-selves, end-lessly!! Hurry back Krickette we miss you.

Yes, she did, Bobbie. There were some really nice discussions on the Odd & Ends thread, and the only bad part is that Amazon puts a lock on comments at 10,000 (the opening post + 9,999 comments that follow)
I didn't expect to be the 'last man standing' on the thread but "It's Over" seemed fitting to be the last post.

Sentimental Ole You. :)

Thanks, Bobbie. My first impression of your post was that you were upset with it.

IS it not amazing how 10,000 post can fly by...speaking about Roy O.,i remember watching him one night with Joan Rivers and of course Joan will say and do anything, she asked him to take off his glasses for her,he told her hell no...i remember when he was asked to do a duo of Crying with k.d.lang,he said why would i redo something that is already good but someone took him to see her perform and that changed everything for him,you did not tell me she could really sing..wow...REAL TALENT...his name is Roy Orbison,he will live as long as music exists...hep.

Rose and Music,
Roy Orbison was amazing, and so was his "group" The Traveling Wilburys. What an amazing combination of talented musicians! I really loved their music.

Saw Roy at the Arizona State Fair a few months before he died. We had spent the day chasing around a 3 year old and needed a rest. Saw a queue for a concert and said "Seats!!!!!!". Didn't even know who was singing. Didn't care. Turned out to be one of the best shows I've ever been to.

Do you see what's happened here?! Roy Orbison has brought us all together. We should all get in a circle and hold hands and sing "Come Together" .... right now. :)

C'mon now....Chris, Macho, tomas. I wanna hold your hand (too) :)

Here's a video of Adam from last night leaving a restaurant with friends. He is very relaxed and being playful with the paps. Very cute!

Louise,
Boy he seems really happy. That's the way to handle TMZ and the other paps, just laugh and joke with them. I wonder where Sauli is. I guess he went back to Finland to do his TV show.

Louise, The guy with him kinda looks like Sauli, but seems a bit taller. Nice seeing him smile around the paps

WELL,the halftime reviews are coming in...very mixed, some very critical....i read BEP had 1,000 dancers....i saw a small clip,i thought i was in vegas for a second, not a big fan of theirs..Fergie is the only one that has a voice...CNN is running a big story about Christina flub...i am kinda surprised she made that mistake,it has not been her year..album tanked, tour canceled, got divorced..movie was panned, she can't catch a break but it goes to my earlier post most singers do not like to sing that song,it is a hard one....they should have asked Adam,he knows the words,it would have been powerful, remember when he went to the marine base, that is how you sing that song..case closed...hep.
