I have used these grips for years and they work great - if you have narrow handle bars/a lot of gear on your bars, you can cut a section off the end no problem.

Made soft rubber that is very grippy, however they can leave some material on your hands after riding - no big deal if you are dirty anyway.

I never used the plug - bar ends.

I've been using these for years. Soft and comfortable. Very shock absorbing yet still firm enough to not feel "gummy". The "YETI" lettering seems to really help promote circulation and ward off that "numb thumb". Can you dig the price!!

I have 3 bikes: One of them have had these grips for about 10 years now, one for 3 yrs, and one new. I just have to say, these grips stay grippy and do NOT get sticky over time. Ive left the 3 yr old one out in the sun and rain and it has still been fine - used everyday. The one thats ten years old was used on and off, but stored indoors - the plastic has NOT hardened and gotten sticky and gooey. I go mountain biking and these are great grips to have for sure. Ive have stock specialized grips that lasted me less time than these under the same usage.

The only con about this is how hard it is to put on the handlebar... took like 20 minutes plus some sore palms..
-i added soap for the newest one, to put on, and it worked very well - got them onto the handlebars in 3 minutes.

TLDR: GREAT grips, dont harden or get gooey over time.
