Genius take on Homer's Odyssey, December 14, 2006

This updated version of the Odyssey by a core member of Einsturzende Neubauten and Andreas Ammer echoes of great space psychodelic music (David Bowie's Space Oddity, anyone? And also echoes of one-hit-wonder Peter Schilling's Major Tom) and has wonderful spoken bits, tying the tracks together into a cohesive adventure (a-la Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds.) Of all of Einheit's side projects, this one and Radio Inferno make perfect bookends worth repeated listening.
