These cases are amazingly well built, sturdy and full protection for your lp's. Nice looking for everyday use and storage as well as perfect for longterm storage of your most cherished albums.

I bought this item off my son's wishlist reluctantly thinking for almost $70 it would be made of cardboard like they used to be and wouldn't last long. However, upon its arrival I became just as thrilled as my son was -- it is extremely well made, has a detachable lid, reminds me of the material his guitar cases are made of. It is carpeted on the inside to cushion while being moved. My only wish is that it had handles on the sides instead of just the one on the top for transporting your vinyl records. I have noticed over the last week that this is what he can't wait to show his friends and they all seem to think it is great.

A well built record protector. Very heavy wood and metal construction keeps your records safe. I like the carpeting as well. I bought two of these.

This case is well constructed. The case can support a substantial amount of weight stacked on top because the wood is thick and sturdy. The hardware is solid and the latch is perfect. The hardware (latch and handle) is recessed into the wood which allows for perfect stacking. The handle rests in a cutout on the top of the box. As other's noted, the handle on top can make this case awkward to carry (perhaps two side handles would be better). Overall, I am very happy with this case. It's sturdy construction exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this case.
