i bought this for my IDJ2. However, the case appears to be made for something totally different. With more than a little modification you might be able able to use it for an IDJ2. The case itself is flimsey, made of light weight yes aluminum that scratches too easily. Inside the case there are two molded square holes that do not match up at all with the IDJ2. Also, as pictured there are spaces to the right that hold CDs. Huh? Outside the carry handle is mounted off center so even when the case is loaded up, it carries oddly, "off center". Weird case. I'm returning mine and buying the more expensive, heavier but made for IDJ2 case.
