The 2-ball F7 is the best putter I have had. I previously used several different types. I've had toe balanced putters from Ping and others, but they never seemed quite right. I then moved to face balanced mallet putters of various brands and sizes and they had better feel for my putting stroke, but they never quite felt just right. I continued to try various putters at sporting goods stores and eventually came across the Odyssey White Hot XG 2-ball F7. (that's a mouth full) After stroking it a few times I knew this was the one for me. It just felt right. Good weight - not heavy. Good sight lines. The Two ball arrangement really helped, but when tied with the two Fangs on the side, the balance was perfect. I did not like the standard 2-ball putters as they did not quite give me the feel and alignment I needed. With this putter, my speed control and direction alignment has greatly improved. I would recommend you try it before you buy, but I think most will like it.

One last thing, I modified it just a bit by adding a line directly down the 2-balls from front to rear. I used some bright orange tape about 1/8" wide. This gives me an additional alignment guide and is a great help. Odyssey offers the same line ( in black ) on some of it's regular 2-ball putters, but not on the F7.

This item didn't seem to be available in stores anywhere. Rather than continue to drive around or waste time searching the internet I went directly to good old AMAZON. Exact same item you would find at a specialty store for much less and received the product within just a few days!!!

I have played one round with this putter so far. It had great touch. The whole round I did not overshoot or undershoot the hole by more than two feet and had some fairly long shots. I was pushing everything to the right which i probably just need to get used to the balance. Overall great putter for the price i payed.

If you are seeking a modern "starship" style putter with easy to see guides, then look no further. This putter has two bold balls that line up perfectly with your ball for easy alignment and easy swing follow through. It's heavier than a blade putter and requires you to think about your line and keep your head in the game, but it stays on line very well. The "tink" off the putter face is pleasing and provides excellent feedback about the stroke. Great putter for someone wanting a quality two ball look.

This review is coming from a golfer that has never been really good at putting. I've been playing for 20 years and have always struggled at putting. With this putter, it is much easier to line up putts and the ball rolls smoothly. I tried out a lot of putters before deciding on this one and it was worth it. Don't waste your money on more expensive putters such as the Scotty Cameron putter. They are very over priced and in the case with the Scotty Cameron, it was very heavy and didn't hit the ball well at all. This one is much easier to hit lag putts and shorts putts and everything in between.

Don't get me wrong, I am not draining putts left and right, but I'm definitely missing the cup much closer now.

I moved to the F7 after 5 years with a Never Compromise mallet. It feels quite a bit different, but it only took me two rounds with it to start sinking tough putts more consistently. The balance is terrific - very easy to keep it on a straight plane.

If I have one complaint about this putter it is that with the softness of the White Hot face, I find distance control on long putts to be more difficult. It is probably just a "feel thing" that I need to work on, but I was more consistent from 30+ feet with my old metal-faced mallet.
