Boasting a modified mallet head with weighted alignment wings, the White Hot XG #7 putter--commonly known as the Fang putter--is a terrific choice for beginning and experienced golfers alike. The putter is outfitted with Odyssey's multilayer White Hot XG insert, which includes an elastomer core that enhances the feel of the putter, along with a thin, firm outer striking surface that's infused with urethane to create a fine-tuned responsiveness.

This not only boosts feedback and distance control, but it also helps shift the weight to the perimeter of the putter head to create a higher moment of inertia (MOI) and better stability. The end result is even more forgiveness and a truer roll than in previous models, helping you approach each putt with confidence. Golfers will also appreciate the textured impact zone on the face, which helps clearly define the sweet spot. The putter's most compelling feature, however, is the fang-like head shape, which includes a pair of weighted alignment wings to improve your accuracy. One of their better designed putters... Great visual tools make proper alignment easy... Good feedback on hits... and added bonus --- the perfect design for picking up those conceded tap-ins... newer versions don't pick up ball like this one.

Excellent putter. I was looking for a putter with a little more weight in the head than the putter I was using. I was also looking for a putter that would allow me to take the putter back smoothly and then follow through just as smooth. The Odyssey White Hot XG #7 is that putter for me. I love it and the friends I play with regularly have noticed an improvement in my putting. I purchased the putter through Amazon as I have purchased a number of items. For me, the design of this club gave me instant feedback on the greens as to whether my alignment/aim was correct or not. I feel like I can really get a good line on a put using the two "arrows" protruding from the club backwards and I can attest that my putting game improved greatly.

Feel of the face on a good swing is soft like warm butter.
