Opening Too Small for Some Bottles,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Oenophilia Wine Bottle Tags Cellar Set
The opening in these wine tags is too small to fit over the neck of some Burgundy- and Rhone-style bottles. Another 1/32" in diameter is all that is needed, so sandpapering the opening fixes the problem at the cost of some elbow grease.
Some example bottlings for which this problem exists are: -- Carmel Road 2007 Monterey Pinot Noir -- Landmark 2008 "Grand Detour" Pinot Noir -- MacRostie 2007 Carneros Chardonnay -- Merry Edwards 2009 Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc -- Turnbull 2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

We have a small collection of wine stored in cabinet. These labels make it very easy to find & select the bottle we are looking for.

This was what it was advertised to be. Worked great - agree with the one minor complaint about it being too small of a diameter to fit over larger top bottles but I only had that problem on 2 out of nearly 100 bottles, and they still fit over the lip with a little bit of pressure. Each tag has a "red" label on one side and "white" on the other side so a tag can be used for either red or white. Sturdy plastic that can be used again and again.
