Simple conversion into a toddler bed with the purchase of a conversion kit (to last up to age 5). Sturdy and safe: Fixed side rails for extra safety. The Consumer Products Safety Commission notes that three quarters of all crib recalls are due to failures in drop-side hardware. Made from solid birch with the exception of bottom rail and legs which are made from Baltic birch plywood for additional strength. All US, Canadian, Australian and European safety standards met or exceeded. Made in Latvia, a nation with a strong woodworking heritage, from locally sourced wood. Finishes are non-toxic and water-based, free of VOC health hazards. Made in a Forest Stewardship Certified facility. Wood wastes and finishing materials are recycled. Packaged in recycled cardboard. I did a ton of research on modern cribs and found the Sparrow to be the best. I was looking for an eco-friendly, and safe crib which isn't made in China. This one was also within my budget so I took the plunge. I've been using it for 6 months now and I am so happy I got it. It's extremely sturdy and looks great
in the nursery. I have since recommended it to all my mommy-to-be friends!

We got this crib for our son just before he was born, and have loved it for the past 16 months. When looking for cribs, I really didn't like a lot of the heavy appearing cribs. I fell in love with the Sparrow crib right away because it seemed so light and airy. The quality didn't disappoint, and my husband and I were able to put it together in about 45 minutes without issue. Aside from looking great, it functions well. I'm on the shorter side, and its been very easy to get my son in and out. Its also quite simple to change the height of the mattress as your baby grows. Overall I would highly recommend this crib, not just because it looks fabulous, but it's also high quality and very functional.

I pretty much love this crib as it's eco friendly and very modern looking. The three adjustments for mattress height are key from infant to toddler. I got this crib because it's convertible so I plan on using it for a long time. The only negative things is that my son has easily chewed the paint off of the inside when he was teething but if he is going to chew paint off of anything I prefer it to be an eco friendly and chemical free item.
