Wall hanger,

This review is from: Off The Wall Guitar Hanger (for Standard Instruments)
I used these as part of a project to hang and display my guitars in my home. However, I hung the guitars at a 45-degree angle and installed an additional support for the body of the guitars. I was worried that using a guitar hanger to only support the neck might eventually be too much stress and cause harm. I recommend these hangers because they are constructed of heavy-duty rubber (provides stability), offer flexibility with the moveable/removeable/rotating angle, and they are relatively easy to install.

I liked the first Off The Wall Guitar hanger so much that I bought a second. Great way to store guitars and free up space.

The Hangers Are the Best I've Found,
By I have tried various wall hangers over the years, but I prefer the Off the Wall hanger and use them exclusively now (I have six of them in my music room and around the condo). They are sturdy and functional, of course. The swivel action of the hanger lets the instrument find its proper balance. The hanger is simple (love the triangular base) and non-obtrusive---they let the instrument be the focus, not the hanger. The swivel portion is permanently covered with a smooth high-grade vinyl material which is much nice looking than the usual plastic sleeves on many hangers. The base is heavy solid metal---with the look and feel of cast iron. I agree with the other reviewer that the screws and sleeves that come with the hanger, while functional, can be improved upon. I used the original hardware when I first mounted the hangers, then this year when I moved to a new place, I went to the hardware store and bought a different screws and inserts for a couple of bucks. The product comes in standard and large sizes. The larger size works perfectly for five or six string basses, like my Roscoe Beck. The smaller size works great for all standard electric or acoustic guitars. If only they would make a mandolin sized model, I would definitely buy it.
