5.0 out of 5 stars Must Read!, March 10, 2011
This book is a must read for people wishing to know more about the subject. I read over a dozen for a school project and this was the only one that was helpful. Its extremently easily written and provides all the facts and resources you need about the subject. It provides facts and qoutes and politians using the subject for personal gain and to gain votes. 85 percent of sexual assaults on children do not involve abduction or murder and are committed by a trusted family member or an acquaintance with no criminal record.

Sex offenders are subject to cruel and unusual punishment, thereby violating their constitutional rights.

Many of the measures target individuals who pose no threat to public safety, while other convicted criminals, including murderers, are not subjected to the restrictions that sex offenders face.

Tougher laws can have negative consequences; severe restrictions on where sex offenders reside can result in transient sex offenders who are difficult, if not impossible, to register or track
