4.0 out of 5 stars A Change Of Pace
Wow, this CD is really really good. I didn't expect much considering it was their first CD and they were relatively unknown but this CD sounds like it was amazingly planned and well executed.
The songs are heartfelt but kinda intense at the same time. It really blends together well. One of the great things about this cd is how the songs varry, they are all...

I bought this C.D. on the suggestion of a store clerk

It's just okay; with a few good moments

And that's all it can ever aspire to be

The first song does rip the guitar intro to "Cross Out The Eyes" by Thursday, and it dosen't go in any big direction after that

My suggestion, go listen to Thursday

Or...

The songs are heartfelt but kinda intense at the same time. It really blends together well. One of the great things about this cd is how the songs varry, they are all different. Lastly I have no idea what in the world people are saying when comparing Loose Lips Sink Ships to Thursday's Cross Out The Eyes, the two songs have very little in common. Highlights to this CD are, Death Do Us Part, December, Every Second and Chippie.

I have to say this cd really suprised me. I read the album reviews in Alternitive Press every month, and they gave it a terrible review, the guy pretty much hated it. I decided id check them out, and i was very happy with what i heard. the reviewer said "loose lips sink ships" was a ripoff of Thursday's "cross out the eyes" which i think is completely wrong.

Or Underoath, Taking Back Sunday, Chiodos, Circa Survive, Say Anything, Saves The Day, or Fall Out Boy

All bands that actually mean something or have good ideas

5.0 out of 5 stars Must Buy!, September 3, 2005

This review is from: An Offer You Can't Refuse (Audio CD)
It's been a while since I have been able to buy a cd and listen to the whole album through. This band is amazing, I recommend anyone who listens to bands like, matchbook romance, Thrice, etc. to add this to their collection. Their energy is up there in the top, and I would not listen to the bad reviews, that person who compared this band to Thursday does'nt have a clue lol. These guys dont have one thing in common with them besides the screaming, I would say the lead singer has more of a Midtown/ Pop punk edge with screamin, which I would of never thought could sound this good. Anyways buy this album, my favirote songs are loose lips sinks ships, and asleep at the wheel.

This cd is just amazing. I enjoy listening to every song and i can listen to the cd straight through without a complaint. With a mix of harder emo tracks to slower, acoustic tracks, A Change of Pace has something for everyone and what it takes to make it big!

3.0 out of 5 stars again?, March 25, 2005
This review is from: An Offer You Can't Refuse (Audio CD)
this genre is done. don't get me wrong, i love this genre...it's my guilty pleasure. but seriously, some of the lyrics in this genre are, um, how do you say...LAME and so done-before. but whenever i feel like doing 100 on the highway, nothing sounds better than a little Senses Fail, and now A Change Of Pace. I was in AZ at their cd release, and they put out a great performance! but again, i think anymore bands like this and they aren't going to go anywhere. because let's face it...how can you "hide something obvious?"

seriously though, i tried to like this band but i cant do it. i felt like id heard every song before, and in case of 'loose lips' i definitely had. i dont think ive ever seen such a blatant rip-off in my life. if i were thursday id be pissed. im not in thursday and IM pissed.
